Father's Day Prep

Father's Day is coming up. I've been trying to be on top of it all and plan little by little. Here are some things to help out your planning and give you some ideas.

Looking for an inexpensive (practically free), sentimental, and easy gift from your child?

Musings of Me is a blog that has fun resources. This week they are offering a free Father's Day Book that you can download and print. This is a booklet created by your child's thoughts. It is sure to bring some laughs and preserve precious memories. We already started on this booklet and I love what my 3 year old has come up with.

Download your free book here!

These Daddyland Coupon Books are darling! Back in the day, Disneyland had coupons or tickets that were redeemable for certain attractions. The attractions were categorized and required certain coupons or tickets just like the ones shown in these fun Daddyland Coupon Books.

Daddyland Coupon Books are also free for download here.

I thought this was the cutest idea yet! Check out this photo name gift at The Amazing Mess blog. It's perfect if you have three kiddos. I would love to do this but I'm wondering how I'd pull it off with only 2 kids. Any ideas?

Adorable!

Breakfast! Start his day on a high note with Puffed French Toast from Our Best Bites. I wish I had never discovered these. These are SO ridiculously delicious. I have sworn to make these ONLY for special occasions but I find myself justifying that everyday is a special occasion just so I can eat these. Is Mark Wahlberg's birthday a reason to celebrate? It is if you're craving Puffed French Toast and you happen to like the whole Funky Bunch! I'm REALLY looking forward to Father's Day just for these. Try them dipped in cinnamon and sugar with the Strawberry Sauce. Crazy, I know!

Find activities to do with dad on his day on THIS website for some good ideas.

If you have little ones, try to adapt these ideas. For example, you might not be able to take your dad to a real golf course but you can go mini golfing or create your own golf course around the house.

Dessert! A MUST in my book for any meal. :)

These are just too cute! I think dad would really like these. Disney Family Fun online magazine will show you how to make these cute cupcakes. Click HERE for the recipe.
